I was hoping if anyone goes to televisionwithoutpity.com forums, where
spoilers for House seem to be pretty accurate, he or she could post
them here.
(I get on rec.arts.tv through Google Groups and GG is the only
non-business related website I can access at work :( ).

So why can't you read TWOP from home, a library, etc.?
LH...

Home: No home computer (yes, you read that right). No transportation
to library or elsewhere. No place to access internet but work.

And whose fault is any of this?

Gee, I really wasn't trying to go for sympathy. You asked, I answered.
Simple as that.

I wasn't giving sympathy. I was suggesting that if you want to read a
web site on a regular basis, get yourself Internet access, don't go
begging for people to copy (or summarize) it here.
You could also beg your IT people to open up access to the TWOP web site
so you could read it from work. If they're worried about employees
using company assets for personal business, it seems like Google Groups
can easily be a bigger waste of time.

Don't we already have enough plagiarism here? Every TV-related Variety
or Yahoo article is copied at least once. Do we really also need every
TWOP article?

Hear, hear!
What would be a _much_ better use of bandwidth would be to post a
summary in a couple of sentences, with a link to the full article.
Ian J. Ball...
|
Sometimes it's possible to do that (I try). But sometimes only posting
the whole article works, because it's impossible to "synopsis" it.
What would be *really* great, tho, is if everyone who reposts an article
*includes the URL* to the article in the posting!
Too many people have been posting articles without even the courtesy of
the accompanying URL - that's annoying.

I didn't ask for every article. Didn't even ask for an article at all.
Barry Margolin...
|
When you said "post them here", it seemed like you were referring to the
TWOP articles. And as for "every article", I was suggesting the
slippery slope -- what if every show fan wanted the articles for his
favorite to be copied here?
LH...
|
I agree that would be a silly redundancy if people copied articles from
another website on here. I apologize if my original post suggested
that's what I wanted.
*All* I would like is if someone would very kindly reply with *one or
two sentences* (and with ample spoiler space, of course) relaying what
they have read on TWOP or elsewhere regarding what is coming up on
future episodes. (I only suggested TWOP because there's a person on
there who seems to have some inside info and gives very accurate
spoilers).
|
|
I was just hoping someone could summarize some spoilers.
Barry Margolin...
|
There's already someone who every week posts a detailed (too detailed,
IMHO) analysis of that week's House episode.
LH...

I read and enjoy Micky DuPree's analysis of episodes that have just
aired. What I was actually asking for was info on what will be
happening on future episodes (hey, ours is an id-based culture of
instant gratification :-) ). I'm sorry if I wasn't clear on that.
