The first season of this show was really good...far, far better performers
than what you see on American Idol.

It was a good summer show. I'll probably only watch again if Dave Navarro is
on. I really liked him.

Productions, which produces the show, announced the move Thursday.
Drummer Tommy Lee of Motley Crüe, bass player Jason Newsted from
Metallica, and Guns and Roses guitarist Gilby Clark make up this
incomplete Supernova. Once their new singer is picked, the band will

Supernova? Sounds about like the rock group 'Asia': leftovers from a bunch
of other bands. Ah well, no matter...as long as they can still get good

So, Mark Burnett has just guaranteed that this band will sell out huge
stadiums, right? I wonder how many tickets he wil have to buy. ;-)

The first season of Rock Star featured the hunt for a new INXS lead
singer. Canadian singer J.D. Fortune won the competition.

Selling out venues...but not doing anything successful/new/interesting
musically.

Ah, what happened to Rock Star: Van Halen? *That* would have been
interesting.

I'm guessing crusty ol' Eddie Van Halen said "No!"
They can only do lead-singer searches for bands that want to look for
one...

Who cares about this lineup? Zzzz....
