American Idol and Simon

I heard Simon tell one of the girls

"How come no one has signed you up yet?"

Doesn't Simon understand Show Biz or the Music Businesss?

There is only *one* reason why American Idol is the most successful
show now on TV.

It's not because of Simon
or Paula
or that dawgy fat black dude (i forgot his name)
or the put downs
or the singing...good or bad as it might be...
or the retards...

it's because of only one reason...

"cattle calls".

If there were more "cattle calls" in Hollywood, you would have more
singing stars and acting stars.

But under the current 'casting system', one has to be able to fit through
the corruption of show and music buisnes.

With cattle calls, you might get a few retards, ...but you find someone
that will make you say

"How come no one has signed you up yet?"
