As Piper makes the final preparations for Raige's engagement party, Raige
herself is having second thoughts about marrying Darling Henry, partly because
he leaves the cap off the toothpaste, but mainly because this is a TV show,
sebastiaan...
|
Tssss she squeezes from the middle, that is a definite grounds for divorce.
:o)
ANIM8Rfsk...
|
Yeah. But, come on. How many nights have they spent together? And do
people like this ever think about getting toothpaste with a flip top cap, or
a pump, or god help us, TWO TUBES???
|
|
and everyone who's about to get married on a TV show must have second thoughts
about doing so. In other news, Phoebe and the Retard play Henry Higgins to
sebastiaan...
|
Only on TV the actors react like this, usually in real life they have
those second thoughts after a couple of months (or the really young ones
after a couple of days (britney?) ;o) )
|
Chrissssty's Eliza Doolittle as they teach her how properly to use a fork and
walk in heels and such because, you know, raised by demons and whatnot. And
sebastiaan...
|
Yeah but she could speak perfect english and her nails were manicured etc
etc.
ANIM8Rfsk...
|
And they decide that the place to teach her table manners is AT A CROWDED
RESTAURANT. And they buy her a dark meat chicken quarter, bones and skin
intact, and expect her to eat it with a knife and a fork, on some kind of
instinct.
Barry Margolin...
|
I think they were inspired by the lobster scene from "Splash". It's a
good thing Ron Howard isn't dead, because he would be turning over in
his grave from this "homage".
|
And everybody is staring at her because SHE PICKED UP A CHICKEN LEG AND BIT
INTO IT! OH, THE HORROR!
Come on, couldn't she have shoveled lasagna into her face with her hands or
something?
Barry Margolin...
|
When they suggested she switch to salad, I was expecting her to start
grazing it like a cow.
|
Why is it important she got to Paige's engagement party anyway? Is the part
a sit down formal dinner? Couldn't they just serve finger food, or have her
eat before hand?
|
|
finally, Victor Webster accidentally-on-purpose stumbles into The Hagquarters
and eventually reveals that he's actually a Cupid named Coop sent by the
ever-useless Elders to help Phoebe sort out her screwed-up love life, and I
would normally be screaming in agony after typing something like that, but
Victor Webster is hot. See how easy it is to satisfy me?
Anyway, all of the above pretty much grinds to a halt when the gals receive a
warning about the recently revivified Triad. After requisite amounts of angst,
they hash out a plan of attack that actually works, and they manage to take out
two of the three zombies. Unfortunately, the remaining one is and has been in
constant telepathic contact with Chrissssty, because she is in fact evil, and
we learn that they both have designs upon The Ultimate Power: The Retarded
Bimbo. Whatever. They had me, and then they lost me.
It all ends with Raige and Darling Henry turning their engagement party into
sebastiaan...
|
Very easy I see.
A cupid with a key? Hmmmm.
And Phoebe kicking in the neighboors door, like that is realistic?
ANIM8Rfsk...
|
Yeah, because, facing ultimate evil and all, the best way we can help is to
distract her.
and
|
I mean, call paige, orb in, voila.
ANIM8Rfsk...
|
Well, she was convinced he was a demon, stalking her, part of the greatest
menace ever to face them, so you can see why she'd want to go up there
alone.
|
ANIM8Rfsk...
|
Who don't actually seem to be much of a threat. They spend all their time
talking about how they aren't any match for the Charmed Ones. Who really
don't seem that tough.
After requisite amounts of

And stand there with their arms hanging at their sides just waiting for the
third to escape.
Doesn't anybody consider retaking Magic School? Or burning it to the
ground? Or filling it with land mines? SOMETHING?
Unfortunately, the remaining one is and has been

their actual wedding, and it's a surprisingly lovely affair, despite the fact
ANIM8Rfsk...
that The Dead-Eyed Psycho is the most terrifying ring-bearer in the history of
forever, and I can't for the life of me figure out where all of the guests came
sebastiaan...
|
Well that explains a lot if she is the ultimate power, so the charmed ones
are second rate now. We have a new power in town.

from.
ANIM8Rfsk...
|
Does Paige have any friends? Maybe they were all on the groom's side.
Notice that nobody gave any thought to inviting various relatives, living
and dead.
Barry Margolin...
|
They were probably planning on inviting all of them to the real wedding.
Turning the engagement into a wedding was a last-minute thing, too late
to bring relatives back from other dimensions.
Maybe all the guests were Henry's parolees and cop friends.

sebastiaan...

You can hire them ;o)
Or hang a poster in P3, free booze and cake, come to the halliwell mansion
;o)

Does Demian know you're re-producing his recaplets uncredited?
