NBC Gives 'Four Kings' the Hook
By Brian Ford Sullivan
LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC has given newcomer "Four
Kings" the boot just five days after its post-Olympics return.
Scheduling updates released late last night confirm the Peacock has
pulled the series from its Thursday, 8:30/7:30c home effective
immediately. Repeats of "My Name Is Earl" are set to fill the
half-hour for the next two weeks however no permanent replacement has
been announced.
To date this season, "Kings" has averaged a lackluster 7.47 million
viewers, making it the network's least-watched program on the night.
Prior to the news, co-stars Josh Cooke and Shane McRae signed onto the
ABC comedy pilots "A Day in the Life" and "Our Thirties" respectively.
It's not clear if or when NBC will air the six remaining produced
episodes of "Kings." David Kohan and Max Mutchnick are the executive
producers of the series, a co-production of KoMut Entertainment and
Warner Bros. Television.

The W&G people BOMB again... *bomb sound effect* And the 8:30PM ET/PT
curse continues.
Note: 'Joey' will NOT be on tonight, being replaced w/... and THIS is
humiliating-- 2 eps of 'Most Outrageous Moments'.
PONDER TIME: Since they've just wrapped up production of the final 8
episodes this week, I wonder if they gave Joey (the character) a final
g00d-bye plot???

Like they could have not seen the writing on the wall.......
the finale for "Joey".....after realizing he isn't going to score in
Hollywood, Joey decides to head back east, to try his hand on Broadway. He
answers an ad from a guy looking for a roomate.
He knocks on the door.........the audience goes wild when the door is open.
No, it isn't Matthew Perry
