Marc's Note: It was no contest on Sunday, as expected, with ABC
standing head-and-shoulders above the rest courtesy of The 78th
Annual Academy Awards. The Oscars averaged a 27.0/40 in the
overnights from 8-11:30 p.m. Comparatively, that was a decline of
10 percent in rating and three share points from The Academy Awards
telecast in 2005 (30.1/43 on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005).
