RATINGS -- Canadians Head To The Beach On Thursday Night

Audiences nationwide supported the strong debut
of Global's Thursday, January 5th/8pm ET Falcon Beach broadcast,
reaching a total of 1.5 million viewers during the hourlong original drama.

In addition, the premiere episode demonstrated notable momentum in the
key 18-49 demo for both males and females, topping the country's leading
young adult drama in the female sector.

'FALCON BEACH' RATINGS RECAP:
*The premiere episode averaged 576,000 Canadian viewers, with 301,000 of
those in the A18-49 demo.
*1.5 million Canadians sampled last night's episode (total Canada reach 2+)
*Falcon Beach Wins With Young Women... The series premiere of Falcon
Beach topped the Fall '05 average of the country's leading young adult
drama, Degrassi: TNG amongst key female demos F18-34 (130,000 vs.
113,000) and F18-49 (210,000 vs 205,000), as well as teens 12-17 (87,000
vs. 71,000).
*And With Men.... The average minute audience for the Falcon Beach
premiere amongst Males 18-49 was up 55% compared to the encore play of the
Falcon Beach movie that aired last Thursday, and up 44% in the males
18-34 demo.
*The series premiere was up 47% (viewers 2+) vs. the original Falcon
Beach movie last year, and 39% for A18-49
