Of course we knew the Borgia character was leaving, but what about the
way she departed? It seemd a little weak to me.

She's off the show? Hallelujah! She's the reason I stopped watching
this season. Any word on a replacement yet?
|
She's in the middle of a couple of cases involving murder, torture,
push-ins and ruthless elimination of opponents. Late at night, there's
a knock at the door, and she opens it up w/o asking "who's there?" or
looking through the peep hole. (Was there even one in the door?) And how
do people get into the buildings? Even the crummiest of places has at
least rudimentary security at the doors, and why would you open the door
if you hadn't buzzed someone in? Lame.

I agree no New Yorker would open an apartment door without knowing
who's on the other side. I guess it might have seemed plausible if they
had set it up that she was expecting someone.
But I disagree, with part 2 of your criticism. Living in NYC, I've
gotten into apartments many, many times by following someone in or
coming in as someone is coming out. Very rarely does anyone confront me
and say, "Do you belong here? Ring a buzzer if you do."
And I have also gotten in buildings by randomly buzzing buzzers (maybe
because the friend I"m visiting is in the shower, or locked myself out
of my own apartment, I'm not a burgler).
