Have you noticed that Michael Scott is a jerk but he's mellowed out
over the past year and you sometimes like him. He doesn't have a clue

Yeah, I've noticed some changes in tone...he has become a little
more human and likable, and the other characters have become less
reserved in hiding their displeasure with him. The latter was
particularly evident in the episode where Michael burned his foot --
the earlier Michael (not to mention David Brent) wouldn't have been
treated with such overt annoyance. But I like the changes. Also like
the chatterbox Indian woman they added. I was borderline when it
started, but it's one of my few don't-miss sitcoms now (along with
My Name Is Earl, Scrubs and, well...that's pretty much it).

about what to talk about in public but he's basically harmless.
Why is he so mean to the HR guy (Toby) - isn't that guy the guy who
could get Michael in real trouble?
The supporting cast is really incredible. They make the show great.
When is the second DVD coming out??

I'm hoping it will be along the same timeline as last year, with a
release coming in late summer just before the start of the new fall
season.
I'm also hoping the second DVD carries on the pattern of the first by
having anywhere from 7-12 minutes of deleted scenes per episode. (Of
course, it would be nicer if they actually edited them back into the
episode, but I'll take them anyway they want.)

Were the extras any good? Like would(did) they include the April Fools PSA's from this
year, last year?

I enjoyed the extras. A lot of times I'll watch deleted scenes and
think "I can see why they deleted that" but The Office stuff was
deleted more because of time restraints than because of lack of quality
- there's some real funny stuff there. The season one DVD also has a
generous number of commentary tracks, featuring Greg Daniels and most
of the cast.
I'm not sure about the PSAs, but I hope the season two set includes the
web episodes they've got slated for this summer. I'm too lame to
figure out how to watch them on my computer, but I've got the DVD
player pretty well solved.
