When House was filling the syringe at the beginning of the show, it
looked a lot fuller than in the final scene of the show. So, did he
shoot himself up at the end or not?
Marc Dashevsky...

I believe he did.

But then why was the syringe still partly full? It's a waste unless

I just checked the tape. It was pushed in almost all the way.
Perhaps you were misled by the fact that the top of the plunger
extended from the body for a length greater than the amount of
space remaining in the syringe. Essentially all of the contents
had been injected.

you're going to use the whole amount -- you can't put it back in the
vial. Can't see House wasting morphine.

I don't think it was partly full. It look in the 'fully plunged'
position to me.

Or at the end, does he no longer need the shot because his leg is
feeling better because he helped out his friend (Wilson's theory
being that his leg hurts when he interalizes stress).
Marc Dashevsky...

I don't buy Wilson's theory, and I don't think House did either.
|
I'm assuming the shot was morphine -- or would it have been something
else?
Ian J. Ball...

I vote that he did in fact take the 'hit' at the end.

The vial was labeled morphine.
