Marc's Note re: Alias' series finale (5.1/8, 6.68 million, 2.7/6 adults):
Ratings for Alias in the final 10:30 p.m. half-hour did not even pick-up
steam, with a distant last-place 4.8/8 in the overnights, 6.52 million
viewers, and a 2.8/7 among adults 18-49. Call me crazy, but I will
never understand what all the hoopla was about this spy thriller.
To the fans of Girlfriends, don’t forget to catch the underrated comedy
in its new Sunday 8 p.m. time period next season.

there?...)

Pretty consistent with what "24" has drawn this season. (Though that
this substandard season has done as well as it has is very lucky...)

I'm still very hurt that Oprah did not invite me to this.

Wow! It really makes a difference whether you're at 8:30pm or 9:30pm!

Well, except for the fact that HIMYM drew 8.6 million for its season
finale. Lessee, here it is from the Nielsen weeklys released yesterday
37 HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER 8640 3.1 (that last is the 18-49)
Of course, Old Christine's numbers may be higher in the final Nationals,
but it probably won't be 1.1 million higher.

Are you kidding? NBC must be absolutely ecstatic about DoND. Its
Monday edition is now getting Nielsen ratings as good as ABC's
much-hyped "Lost" and better than CBS's "NCIS." And DoND's production
costs are obviously miniscule compared to those other shows, so its
sponsor revenue is pure profit.
Whether you like it or not, "Deal or No Deal" is a home run for NBC.

If NBC were doing even slightly better than it is, both of these would
be goners.
