Doug Main...
Sure there are lots of things to pick at...

The gas eats door seals, but not Jack's skin or hoodie.
The contamination people are 20-30 minutes away at the beginning of the
hour, but still don't get there at :59:59
Kimmy...why?

Ian J. Ball...

Cleaning toxic gas by running the A/C for a few minutes...
And in nearly every ep since season 1, perimeters are breached by EVERY
bad guy
It's just so dumb....but it sure is fun, isn't it?

Just like the bad guys on that plane in The Unit last week...tons of
explosives, high powered automatic weapons, all kinds of hostages, yet
an old guy with a .22 pistol kills them all, saves the world and doesn't
get a scratch, all the while battling bureaucracy, competing agendas and
he does it while on a trip to visit an old pal, with a rookie.

This has been central in adventure scripting since the days of the horse
opera: the bad guys can't shoot, but they can escape like crazy, until
the final reel. The good guys do impossible feats in their always
successful efforts to save the world.

What we see now is merely up-to-date tools to accomplish this. Jack
uses PDAs, "sockets", files, decoding and time shifting instead of a
horse and a six shooter.
