I am catching up with the USA network reruns at 1:00am on Thursday
mornings and can't wait for the series to resume. Too bad about Dead
Zone :-(

"The 4400" won't be going anywhere for a while, as USA has asked for
another season of its Emmy-nominated alien-abductee series.

Production on the show's third season is scheduled to begin in January,
with new episodes slated for summer 2006. "The 4400" has found both
critical and ratings success in each of the past two summers, scoring
some of basic cable's best ratings for scripted series."

So you never liked the outer limits (new or old). I thought that that
was one of the most inventive sci-fi ever. Only behind Twilight's Zone
, IMHO.

TOL tends to be too predictable. TWZ kept you guessing, but with TOL
you could pretty much guess that every episode was going to end badly
for the principal character(s).

Which Outer Limits are you talking about? The original (okay, I'll say it,
'real') series had a lot of happy endings.

k. I gave up on that early. The gratuitous nudity was all that really
appealed to me.

I never watched the old OL. The new one has mostly been on in the
middle of the night, and the only times I've watched it is if I
happened to see a listing for an episode featuring an actor I liked.
Then I'd usually tape it. The last time I remember watching it was the
night before Princess Diana got killed.
