Season 5 episode 13

It's odd how unnatural it sounded because I recall an interview with JG that
she had a southern accent when she was a kid.

Well she did call it Ford specifically, and I love the advertising Jack did
about it being quiet. That was just as blatant of a plug as the one they did
for the Ford Focus back in season 2 or 3.

Blair P. Houghton...

She wasn't just doing a southern accent. She was being ... Britney
Spears.

He said he was chosen, he didn't say he was The Chosen One of the prophecy.
And since we know Nadia isn't dead, him meeting Prophet5 could be just
another twist to save Syd and/or Nadia. We have a clone of the Chosen One
but none of the passenger... that fight is still to come, too.

What do you mean we know Nadia isn't dead? I rewatched the last scene with
her and she seemed pretty dead to me.
Rob Jensen...

The Francinator (ie: Alison Doren, Francine's murderer/doppleganger)
was pretty hard to kill. And may even be back before the end of the
series.

For how long have you watched Alias? Which superagent, also being mentioned
in a 500 year old prophecy (the passenger) has ever died by accident?
Technically speaking, Sloane didn't kill her... she fell... just happened
that the glas table was standing in her way...
Tobias Fünke...
|
I've been watching it from the beginning, but I guess I just figured by now,
especially since we know Vaughn is alive, that they're not gonna reuse the
plot device of a character miraculously surviving.
Sure she fell and it was an accident, but there was a freaking shard of
glass in her throat, and later when Jack came to see her she still looked
dead. Plus there was the narration by Sloane which made it sound even more
likely that she was dead for good this time "death is a necessary
sacrifice".

Hmm... wasn't aware of that. But we all know Alias has a liberal use of
flashbacks and that could be the reason for it. I guess we'll just have to
wait and see if I'm wrong.

Poor Nadia, Daddy just couldn't give up on his Rambaldi obsession.
Wait until Sydney finds out......Arvin is a goner for sure!
A lot of loose ends still to be tied up.

I'd give it a 4.5.
Good: Like the twist with waking Nadia up, and just as we think it's going
to be all googly-happy, she gets killed. Also, they finally trimmed a
seriously extraneous character that never did anything for me (Renee). I
like seeing Rambaldi back in the plot. And last but not least, Sloane is
finally 100% bad again.
Bad: I hate, hate, HATE the "bad guy looks like the good guy" trick.
